Morson Group are delighted to announce that, following an employee-led voting process, the charities we will be supporting in 2026 are Maggies and Amputation Foundation.

Each year, our employees nominate charities that hold a special significance to them. These are then shortlisted and voted on, with one large charity and one smaller regional charity chosen.

Maggies

Maggies was set up by founder Maggie Keswick Jencks, who used her own experience of living with cancer to create a brand new type of care. She passed away from breast cancer in 1995, leaving the plans for this new charity care centre on her deathbed. A branch was initially set up in Edinburgh in 1996, and 30 years on the charity now has a network of centres across the entire UK, with the most recent opening in Northampton in 2025. There are plans for additional centres in Bristol, Cambridge, Coventry, Liverpool and as far afield as Norway.

Amputation Foundation

Amputation Foundation was initially founded by Morson’s ex-forces ambassador Andy Reid, who sustained life-changing injuries while serving in the British Army in Afghanistan which left him as a triple amputee, and a resilient civilian who overcame the aftermath of a severe road traffic accident.

Their goal is to provide immediate, empathetic and effective support to amputees and their families by collaborating with various support networks across the UK.

Morson Group’s commitment to social responsibility is long-standing. Since 2007, our charity committee has led our fundraising efforts and in the last decade alone, we’ve raised over £2.5 million for worthy causes throughout the UK, such as Prostate Cancer UK, Brain Tumour Research, British Heart Foundation, Salford University, Dementia UK, Destination Florida, Alzheimer’s Society and many more.

In 2025, our charity fundraising activity included two golf days, a bike ride, our very first Padel tournament, and much more, raising money for Prostate Cancer UK and Destination Florida Children’s Charity.

By supporting Maggie’s and the Amputation Foundation, the company is not only making financial contributions but also raising awareness about these important causes. It’s a testament to the power of positive change that can be achieved when a community comes together for a common cause.
