Case Study | VPI Power
RPO1 partner for the energy transition
VPI Power, operating five CCGT and CHP plants across the UK, needed a recruitment partner to manage all technical and asset management hires while expanding into hydrogen and carbon capture.
Appointed in 2022, we implemented a full RPO1 model, supplying permanent and contract talent for operations, commissioning, and engineering roles – plus full vetting, payroll, and off-payroll consultancy.

Global multi-discipline partnership
Repsol, a global multi-energy company, required a workforce partner to supply both permanent and contingent labour across multiple technical disciplines and to migrate over 100 contractors from an incumbent supplier without disruption.
Appointed in 2018 as joint sole supplier, we delivered a multi-discipline workforce spanning exploration, production, operations, and corporate services.
We successfully migrated all contractors with 0% attrition and maintain ongoing supply of 120+ placements per year.

Tier 1 Supplier
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) needed skilled engineering resources to support hydro and nuclear refurbishment – vital to maintaining Canada’s energy supply.
For over 10 years, Morson in Canada, part of Morson Edge, has supported OPG as a Tier 1 supplier, delivering over 1,000 placements and managing 110 live contractors on assignment.
Our specialists have supported the Darlington Refurbishment and Canada’s first SMR build.

Ormonde wind farm design support
REVA T&D required full secondary design, layout, and SCADA calculations for the Ormonde hybrid wind and gas project, generating up to 200MW of electricity.

Derby waste-to-energy facility
Energos, alongside Interserve, needed a principal design contractor for a £4m energy-from-waste facility in Derby.
Through Morson Praxis, we deployed 60 engineers and modellers to deliver full 3D model design, process engineering, and SCADA system integration, producing a clash-free, fully operable Navisworks model.
