Morson Group has been ranked the third largest staffing firm in the UK in the latest report from Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), based on 2024 revenue.
The Largest Staffing Firms in the UK 2025 report ranks the top 125 firms operating in the market. Together, they generated £25bn in revenue, representing 63% of total UK staffing market value.
We moved up one place on last year’s ranking. Growth that reflects deliberate choices, not chance.
SIA highlighted Morson’s continued expansion, underpinned by a clear acquisition strategy and sustained year-on-year performance. A 5% revenue increase was driven by the acquisition of InterQuest Group and Astraeus Consulting Limited in January 2024, strengthening our technology and professional services capability across the UK, Europe and the US.
Eoghan Doherty, Research Analyst at SIA, commented:
“The strategic move is reportedly part of Morson’s commitment to expanding its service offerings and solidifying its presence in the technology and professional services markets across the UK, EU, and US.”
Morson Group now sits alongside Impellam Group and Hays as the three largest staffing firms in the UK. Combined, the top three account for 10% of total market revenue. For context, the top 50 firms represent just under half of the market.
That fragmentation matters. The UK remains one of the most competitive staffing markets in Europe, with 107 of the 125 largest firms headquartered domestically. SIA’s report points to three routes to sustainable growth: specialism in high-growth sectors, deep client relationships, or consolidation.
