At Morson Edge, we deliver the people and projects behind digital transformation – from the British Army’s Power Platform programme to DESNZ’s carbon trading system, Network Rail’s AI innovation, and the Post Office’s national tech upgrade. With 40 years of SoW delivery and 1,200 consultants, smarter people for smarter systems.
Digital transformation doesn’t wait. Neither do we.
At Morson Edge, we combine technology expertise with delivery precision helping clients scale digital capability, deliver projects faster, and stay compliant every step of the way.
Whether it’s embedding data engineers into transformation teams, managing full delivery through Statement of Work, or providing cleared consultants to government programmes, our role stays the same: deliver smarter.
We’re proud to partner with organisations including the Department for Energy Security & Net Zero, The British Army, Network Rail, and Post Office, delivering people, process, and performance that make technology work harder.
Because innovation means nothing without execution.
The Department for Energy Security & Net Zero needed an agile, compliant delivery partner to accelerate the UK ETS – a digital programme underpinning the UK’s carbon trading scheme.
Delivery had to meet strict GDS/CDDO standards while scaling quickly to support expansion into new sectors like maritime and waste.
We embedded multi-disciplined delivery teams under a fixed Statement of Work, providing project capacity, digital assurance, and governance in line with central government frameworks.
Our Agile consultants delivered accelerated delivery cycles, continuous feedback loops, and full compliance with government digital standards.
The results
Everyone talks transformation. We just deliver it.
As part of the Defence Digital-led “Defence as a Platform” (DaaP) programme, the British Army needed to modernise its IT infrastructure and scale adoption of Microsoft’s Power Platform across 200,000+ personnel
The mission: build confidence, compliance, and capability across the ranks, ensuring soldiers and staff could design, deploy, and manage their own digital tools safely and securely.
Morson Edge designed and implemented an end-to-end Microsoft Power Platform training and governance programme, creating the British Army’s first full citizen developer community
Our team ran bi-weekly drop-in sessions and delivered structured training at three levels – Foundation, Intermediate, and Advanced – equipping personnel to build, automate, and govern with precision.
We also established the Army’s Power Platform governance strategy, ensuring compliance, security, and best practice across all applications. From PowerApps and Power Automate to Power BI, SharePoint, and Dataverse.
The results
Network Rail manages more than 30,000 bridges and structures across the UK rail network.
Every one must meet strict operational and safety standards, requiring thousands of inspections each year.
Traditional surveying was time-intensive, expensive, and manual, with qualified engineers spending days on-site and even longer analysing paper-based results.
Network Rail wanted a smarter way to maintain its bridge network, using technology to cut inspection time, reduce risk, and improve data accuracy.
We mobilised a specialist DevOps and AI delivery team to work directly alongside Network Rail’s operations staff, developing a machine learning model capable of identifying bridge defects from digital imagery.
We began with a Proof of Concept – surveying three bridges and walls using 360° cameras.
Images were captured, segmented, and manually labelled to train the model.
Once proven, we rolled out a phased national delivery programme, capturing panoptic-view digital images of all structures.
The team built a web-based virtual tour environment, allowing engineers to view each bridge remotely in 360°.
The model rapidly flagged defects, prioritised repairs, and enabled proactive maintenance planning.
Environmental data – such as light levels, temperature, and weather impact – was also recorded, giving Network Rail new predictive insight.
The results
AI didn’t replace engineers. It made them sharper.
When the Post Office – the UK’s largest retail network – went to market for its third-generation Managed Service Provider (MSP) partner, the goal was clear: find a supplier who could simplify, modernise, and future-proof the recruitment and management of all IT and Professional Services contractors.
After a highly competitive Crown Commercial Services tender process involving 175+ IT MSP agencies, Morson Edge was appointed to deliver a smarter, more transparent workforce solution.
We became the managed service partner responsible for all contingent labour across the Post Office’s head office and corporate functions spanning IT, Digital, Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, and BAU operations.
Our MSP model manages around 300 contractors at any given time, covering all financial services products including savings, loans, insurance, mortgages, credit cards, and foreign currency.
At the heart of this solution is Vencuro – Morson Edge’s proprietary single sign-on recruitment platform.
Vencuro gives Post Office full visibility, control, and compliance across the entire hiring process, simplifying recruitment, reducing admin, and improving cost efficiency through a single, data-rich touchpoint.
