Mais malgr\u00e9 leurs parcours diff\u00e9rents, leurs histoires ont fait \u00e9cho \u00e0 des th\u00e8mes similaires : la r\u00e9silience, la r\u00e9invention et l'importance de construire des lieux de travail qui comprennent toute la complexit\u00e9 de la vie des femmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Les parcours professionnels dont on ne parle pas toujours<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Emma Neville<\/strong>, Fondatrice de la communaut\u00e9 de soutien \u00e0 la m\u00e9nopause <em>C'est moi<\/em>, Le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de l'Agence europ\u00e9enne pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et la sant\u00e9 au travail (ESA) a racont\u00e9 une histoire qui est rarement \u00e9voqu\u00e9e dans les milieux professionnels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c0 40 ans, Emma a connu une m\u00e9nopause pr\u00e9coce \u00e0 la suite d'un diagnostic d'insuffisance ovarienne pr\u00e9matur\u00e9e (IOP). Au Royaume-Uni, l'\u00e2ge moyen de la m\u00e9nopause est de 51 ans. Le manque d'informations accessibles et de sensibilisation sur le lieu de travail l'a oblig\u00e9e \u00e0 vivre cette exp\u00e9rience en grande partie par ses propres moyens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sa r\u00e9ponse a \u00e9t\u00e9 de commencer \u00e0 poser des questions. Puis de cr\u00e9er une communaut\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette communaut\u00e9 est devenue par la suite <em>C'est moi<\/em>, Un espace o\u00f9 les femmes peuvent partager leurs exp\u00e9riences, obtenir du soutien et s'informer sur une \u00e9tape de la vie qui re\u00e7oit encore \u00e9tonnamment peu d'attention dans les environnements professionnels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Son histoire a mis en lumi\u00e8re un point sur lequel le panel est revenu \u00e0 plusieurs reprises : de nombreuses personnes ont besoin d'un soutien financier. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.morson.com\/blog\/10-barriers-womens-career-progression\">obstacles \u00e0 la carri\u00e8re<\/a> pour les femmes n'est pas une question de capacit\u00e9, mais de syst\u00e8mes qui n'ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 adapt\u00e9s \u00e0 la r\u00e9alit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Leadership et repr\u00e9sentation : des progr\u00e8s, mais pas de parit\u00e9<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cadre dans le secteur de la mode <strong>Jane Shepherdson<\/strong>, PDG de Whistles et ancienne directrice de la marque Topshop, a parl\u00e9 du leadership dans des secteurs qui semblent \u00e0 premi\u00e8re vue domin\u00e9s par les femmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La mode emploie un grand nombre de femmes. Mais au niveau des conseils d'administration, la situation change souvent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jane a r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi aux d\u00e9fis que repr\u00e9sente l'accession \u00e0 des postes de direction dans des environnements o\u00f9 les structures de prise de d\u00e9cision ne refl\u00e8tent pas toujours la main-d'\u0153uvre qui se trouve en dessous d'elles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Son point de vue \u00e9tait simple mais puissant : la diversit\u00e9 des dirigeants n'est pas qu'une question de repr\u00e9sentation. Elle modifie la qualit\u00e9 de la prise de d\u00e9cision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorsque les organisations invitent des points de vue diff\u00e9rents, en particulier ceux des personnes en d\u00e9but de carri\u00e8re, elles cr\u00e9ent des cultures qui \u00e9voluent au lieu de stagner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Red\u00e9finir le travail en fonction de la vie r\u00e9elle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Victoria Price<\/strong>, fondatrice et codirectrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de la marque de v\u00eatements f\u00e9minins de luxe Emello, a offert une perspective diff\u00e9rente, fa\u00e7onn\u00e9e par sa carri\u00e8re ant\u00e9rieure dans les services professionnels mondiaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avant de lancer Emello, Victoria a pass\u00e9 deux d\u00e9cennies \u00e0 diriger des \u00e9quipes au sein d'organisations telles que EY. Son parcours a commenc\u00e9 alors qu'elle \u00e9tait m\u00e8re adolescente, un point de d\u00e9part qui a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de la pers\u00e9v\u00e9rance, de la d\u00e9termination et un refus d'accepter les calendriers de carri\u00e8re traditionnels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L'une des id\u00e9es les plus int\u00e9ressantes qu'elle a partag\u00e9es est la mani\u00e8re dont elle structure diff\u00e9remment sa propre entreprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Par exemple, les \u00e9v\u00e9nements d'\u00e9quipe sont programm\u00e9s pendant les heures de travail plut\u00f4t qu'en soir\u00e9e, reconnaissant que les attentes traditionnelles en mati\u00e8re de r\u00e9seautage peuvent involontairement exclure les personnes ayant des responsabilit\u00e9s familiales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C'est un petit changement. Mais il refl\u00e8te un changement d'\u00e9tat d'esprit plus important : concevoir le travail en fonction des personnes, plut\u00f4t que d'attendre des personnes qu'elles con\u00e7oivent leur vie en fonction du travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cinq id\u00e9es qui ont marqu\u00e9 les esprits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">La confiance en soi ne s'attend pas<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>La confiance en soi est souvent consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme quelque chose que les individus doivent d\u00e9velopper en interne. Mais le groupe d'experts a remis en question cette id\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La confiance se d\u00e9veloppe \u00e9galement dans des environnements o\u00f9 les contributions des personnes sont reconnues et o\u00f9 les succ\u00e8s (personnels et collectifs) sont c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9s ouvertement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parfois, la confiance n'est pas tant une question d'assurance qu'une question d'entourage qui per\u00e7oit votre potentiel avant vous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Les entreprises risquent de perdre des talents qu'elles ne peuvent pas se permettre de perdre<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Une statistique partag\u00e9e lors de l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement a \u00e9t\u00e9 frappante : quatre femmes sur dix quittent le march\u00e9 du travail au milieu de leur vie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les raisons sont complexes. L'\u00e9volution de la sant\u00e9, les responsabilit\u00e9s familiales et la rigidit\u00e9 des structures de travail sont autant de facteurs qui jouent un r\u00f4le.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais l'impact commercial est \u00e9vident. Lorsque des professionnels exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s quittent pr\u00e9matur\u00e9ment une organisation, les entreprises perdent des connaissances institutionnelles, un potentiel de leadership et une expertise durement acquise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soutenir les femmes qui traversent ces transitions devrait \u00eatre une d\u00e9cision strat\u00e9gique de l'entreprise, plut\u00f4t qu'une simple initiative de bien-\u00eatre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">La valeur r\u00e9elle du \u201cmultitasking\u201d (multit\u00e2che)\u201d<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Le panel a recadr\u00e9 un st\u00e9r\u00e9otype courant. Les femmes sont souvent d\u00e9crites comme de bonnes multit\u00e2ches. Mais comme l'a montr\u00e9 la discussion, la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 est plus nuanc\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La notion de multit\u00e2che est mal interpr\u00e9t\u00e9e ; elle ne signifie pas que les femmes sont dou\u00e9es pour faire beaucoup de choses \u00e0 la fois, mais qu'elles savent \u00e9tablir des priorit\u00e9s.
