Case Study | Hinkley Point C

Partnering EDF Energy to power Britain’s clean energy future.

Morson Edge – through Waldeck – was appointed to provide engineering and management consultancy as part of EDF’s engineering framework when EDF Energy set out to build the UK’s first new nuclear power station in a generation, 

Our engineers have worked alongside EDF since 2014, supporting site enabling works, managing and coordinating works packages, and acting as Intelligent Customer during the Main Civils phase.

We’ve also provided strategic BIM consultancy, defining Employer’s Information Requirements (EIR) and 3D standards to embed digital assurance into every stage of delivery.

Case Study | Cavendish Nuclear

Integrating BIM for safer, smarter operations.

At Sellafield, Morson Edge – through Morson Projects and Waldeck – supported Cavendish Nuclear in delivering a Silos Maintenance Facility that blends cutting-edge BIM with traditional engineering rigour.

We translated 2D project data into 3D digital models, resolving coordination challenges and creating a foundation for more efficient asset management.
Our team also provided BIM training, giving Cavendish Nuclear and Sellafield Ltd the in-house capability to manage and maintain their own models.

Project scope:

• New-build design support for the Silos Maintenance Facility 
• Development of RCM reports, TBoM documents and Master Equipment Lists 
• £4m target cost project over 2 years

Case Study | Urenco

Engineering longevity through smarter asset management.

For over five decades, Morson Edge has supported Urenco across its UK operations — most recently delivering a baseline configuration review to extend plant lifespan and prepare for future expansion.

Our team of 11 multi-discipline specialists conducted walkdowns, reviewed and updated P&IDs and Category 1 drawings, undertook a Technical Basis of Maintenance (TBoM) study, and performed comprehensive spares and obsolescence reviews.

The result: a future-proof asset management strategy that ensures operational stability, regulatory compliance and readiness for next-generation throughput.

Case Study | Telent

Managing complexity with clarity through MSP and SOW triage.

When Telent, a leading provider of critical infrastructure and network services, needed a smarter way to manage its workforce, Morson Edge delivered a hybrid MSP contract with SOW triage to give complete visibility and control.

We now manage all contingent labour and temporary recruitment across Telent’s nationwide operations, integrating our proprietary Vencuro technology with their systems for real-time insight.

A full migration of 176 contingent and 40 CIS workers was completed with zero disruption, while the supply chain was streamlined from nine to five niche suppliers.

Telent also utilises Zivio for SOW management, supported by our Morson Projects FCOS triage tool, ensuring every engagement is correctly classified, compliant and fully auditable.
